Ah, the best laid plans…
I had planned on doing this last night, after attending a photography meetup in Brighton Marina. However, the talk went on way past 11pm and by the time I got home and booked bootcamp (yes, you read that right, dedication my friends), it was time for my batteries to well and truly run out and I didn’t manage to get this on the blog.
The talk was great last night though. Richard Curtis from Adobe went through some of his own images and then went through his workflow in Lightroom and Photoshop. What is always interesting to me in a group of photographers is how little confidence I have that I am using things in the right way, and yet I then find everyone else has the same issue! In fact, I found last night that I rally did understand what Richard was going through.
I think that fact that I understood what was going on can only be testament to the power of social media and YouTube as I have never had formal training on Lightroom and only a very quick 2 day skim across Photoshop. I do have to admit though that I fell in love with the latest versions of both Lightroom and Photoshop last night and their capabilities, it was mind-blowing some of the things it could do. Add these 2 packages to the photography wish list and I think I will be saving until the next version comes out!
