Day 135- Kiss From A Rose

What a long day today has been! Up at 4.30am to leave the house at 5.30am to get to Birmingham NEC in time for a 9.30am meeting. Thankfully, the drive home was traffic free and with the longer nights I even managed to make it back to Brighton in daylight.

The long drive has afforded me the opportunity to listen to this week’s album. Well, I say listen but it is actually more like singing along in a diva/ rock queen superstar style. I’m so cool, I know you are all jealous đŸ˜‰

I decided to push the edit a bit more again tonight and add some texture to the image as well as dropping the saturation down. I didn’t want it to be completely black and white as I liked the delicate colour of the flower, but I didn’t want to spot colour either.

I would really like to include “Kiss Me” in this week’s blog, as the lyrics are lovely (see below) but I really need a couple to volunteer to be my models:

Oh kiss me out of the bearded barley,
Nightly , beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You’ll wear those shoes and I will wear that dress

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift you open hand
Strike up the band, and make the fireflies dance
Silvermoon’s sparkling,
So kiss me

Kiss me down by the broken tree house
Swing me , upon its hanging tire
Bring, bring , bring your flowered hat
We’ll take the trail marked on your father’s map

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift you open hand
Strike up the band, and make the fireflies dance
Silvermoon’s sparkling,
So kiss me

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift you open hand
Strike up the band, and make the fireflies dance
Silvermoon’s sparkling,
So kiss me

If you are able to get to Brighton to be my “Kiss Me” couple either tomorrow or Wednesday evening, please please let me know!

    • Thanks- I had a play witha couple of new actions but dropped the effect right down until it was just slight- and then added the texture as an overlay (this is not gobbledegook to you right?) xx
